The Encore VENU 10RKS is a modern, lightweight, teardrop-style adventure trailer designed for two people and built with a 100% wood-free, all-aluminum construction. It is a deluxe model within the Venu lineup that is easy to tow and equipped with essential amenities for off-grid camping, including a dinette, a small indoor kitchen, and a private cassette toilet.
Construction and exterior features
100% wood-free: The VENU 10RKS is built using an all-aluminum tube construction, chassis, and composite flooring and interior walls. This prevents problems with rot, mold, and mildew.
One-piece fiberglass roof: The single, hi-gloss fiberglass roof extends from the tongue to the bumper, eliminating seams that could cause water leaks.
Off-road option: An available off-road package includes larger off-road tires, heavy-duty fenders, and a roof rack system for carrying extra gear.
Compact and lightweight: With a dry weight of 1,725 pounds and a total length of just under 14 feet, the 10RKS is easy to tow and store.
Exterior lighting: Features include exterior scare lights, LED running lights, and under-frame amber accent lights.
Interior amenities and layout
Dinette/bed conversion: The primary interior space features a dinette with solid-surface counters that converts into an 80" x 48" bed for sleeping.
Indoor kitchen: This model is a step up from the basic version, adding a two-burner stove, a 4.7-cubic-foot refrigerator, and a sink with a commercial-grade faucet.
Cassette toilet: For greater convenience, the trailer includes a nightstand with a hidden cassette toilet.
Modern finishes: The interior features tweed walls with Azdel, durable Luxe vinyl flooring, and sleek aluminum cabinetry.
Media and tech: A Bluetooth stereo with four speakers and USB charge ports provides entertainment and connectivity. TV/satellite/cable/HDMI prep is also included.
Systems and utility
On-demand water: A 21-gallon fresh water tank and an on-demand water system provide hot water quickly.
Ventilation: A 12V power roof vent helps with air circulation.
Power: The unit features a 30-amp shore cord and a 40-amp converter with a battery charger.
Optional A/C and battery: An optional 15,000 BTU basement A/C with a heat pump and 12V lithium batteries are available.
